KEY DATES

Auditions: Thursday, February 2^nd, 4-6:30pm in Marshall Bldg Conference room (2^nd floor) and Sunday, February 5^th, 1-3pm in the Tubac Room in the SUMC; both locations are on the University of Arizona campus

Call Backs: Week of February  6 – 10

Shooting Dates (tentative): February 25-26

NOTE: We are looking for actors interested in expanding their portfolio. Must work closely with one other actor portraying a relationship and performing an intimate scene. Actors must have necessary availability and willingness to rehearse with directors/producers and be available for two all-day shoots. For similar performance styles, please view Like Crazy (Drake Doremus, 2011) and Blue Valentine (Derek Cianfrance, 2010).

SYNOPSIS: A couple struggles with their lingering emotional ties after an overdue break-up.

EMMA (female, mid-20s): Quiet but spontaneous, many are intimidated by her intense personality.  She doesn’t necessarily talk a lot, but chooses her words carefully. Collects puzzles from the thrift store she works at. Likes challenges for entertainment and to stimulate thought.

RYAN (male, mid-20s): A more practical personality, Ryan tends to stick to the safe route and make practical choices, even though he dreams big. Easily gets swept up by emotion, and then gets confused when things don’t pan out as they do in his head. Likes challenges to achieve and win.

Actors may audition solo or with a partner.
