Reel Arts 6@Crossroads Grand Cinema is proud to announce the premiere event for the Motion Picture INGENIOUS starring two-time Academy Award nominee, Jeremy Renner (THE HURT LOCKER 2009 & THE TOWN 2010). The film was filmed entirely in the city of Tucson in 2006 and showcases the many local landmarks our city has to offer. It had the working title of SNAPPERS during production and it had the full support of the Tucson Film Office, local film production companies, Tucson area businesses and many local actors & extras also appear in the film.

The premise of the film is a Rags-to-Riches storyline regarding two best friends who invent a contraption that becomes successful worldwide. It follows them through the perils of fame as well as intrigue with an unscrupulous salesman, and how this affects them, their friends and families.
INGENIOUS also stars Dallas Roberts, whose portrayal of “Matt” resonates with everyone who wishes to make something special of their lives, Ayelet Zurer who portrays “Gina”, his wife, and “Sam” portrayed by Jeremy Renner, the best friend who is a willing participant in this journey. Best-Friends, dreamers, inventors or suckers. Pacific Productions as well as the cast & crew were in Tucson during its 2-month production schedule.
Reel Arts 6@Crossroads Grand Cinemas is inviting the entire city of Tucson to participate in a FILM FAN EVENT which will be sponsored and hosted by Coyotemoon Films Productions. A special panel will discuss (prior to the film) the way the film was constructed from Pre-Production, Principal Photography and then Post-Production along with special guest, Mr. Tim Flood, INGENIOUS producer, who will be in Tucson to thank the city for it’s incredible help in the production of this feature film.
Special prizes and gifts will be available for those in attendance to this FILM FAN EVENT. INGENIOUS will then be shown for one week until August 31st. at Reel Arts 6 theatre.
