This Thursday, Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's BRIGHT STAR opens the 2024/25 University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film & Television theatre season! The Tony-nominated musical heads up a diverse selection of award-winning productions that showcase the school's rising stars in acting, design and technical production.
"We look forward to welcoming audiences to the beautifully renovated Marroney Theatre to experience the master works Uncle Vanya and Little Women, the thrilling new play John Proctor is the Villain, and a sweeping tale of love and redemption in Bright Star, the musical written and composed by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell," said Assoc. Prof. Christie Kerr, the School's new Head of Acting/Musical Theatre and new Arizona Repertory Theatre Artistic Director.
Subscription packages and single tickets are now on sale in-person at the Arizona Arts Box Office, and by mail, phone, or online at tickets.arizona.edu.
The School of Theatre, Film & Television is excited to share that this season, college and high school students are eligible to attend many TFTV theatre productions for free or at a discount.
