New Year, New Experiences

The 2018 Tucson Fringe Festival is just around the corner (January 12 - 14, to be exact) and every year we like to shake things up.  We've added some new features to the festival this year that we're excited to share with you.
 

• Mingle with the artists and producers: Each night after the festival, join us at SkyBar to mix and mingle with the folks that make the Fringe happen.  Did you know you can order pizza at Brooklyn and have it delivered to SkyBar?
• New Venues: Club Congress and The Flycatcher have always been super supportive of Tucson Fringe.  This year, with so many shows we've had to branch out. We're lucky to have found three other unique, locally owned and operated venues - The Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre, The Steinfeld Warehouse, and Exploded View Micro-cinema.  We even have a show in the artists' AirBnB in the historic Elysian Grove Market building.
• New works: The beauty of a Fringe Festival is that you're always going to be offered a wide variety of brand new performances.  All of our shows are original productions, and many are being produced for the first time here at the Tucson Fringe Festival.  
• As-They-Happen Show Reviews: Not sure what to see? We've got four writers who will be hitting as many shows as they can on Friday night and Saturday morning and posting short reviews on our Facebook and Twitter.  Follow us on social media to make sure you don't miss the Next Big Hit!

Welcome to Paradise! From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted as a special guest, for tonight is the surprise birthday party for Calvin Winchester, the world-famous big game hunter, and you are our special guest! Your hostess for the evening will be his wife, Matilda, as well as the entire Winchester Family… and some very unique visitors will be stopping by as well.

 

When you walk through the door, you'll be given a new name and identity for the evening, and become part of the action! Suspects abound! Keep your eye on Victoria Siren, the legendary movie star, as well as Sydney Lumier, Hollywood's most infamous director. Watch out for the ne'er-do-well son, Reginald, and his sharp-shooting sister, Claire. Everyone has secrets to hide, and it's your opportunity to try to figure out what's what. It's fun, different, and always entertaining!

 

Someone is guilty, but who is it? Detective Wes Chester will lead the investigation, but you are welcome to interrogate the suspects, too.  Join the fun and solve the mystery while enjoying a delicious, three-course meal!
