Subject: SYLVIA - Extended to 7/3!

Due to an overwhelming audience response, we are happily extending SYLVIA, by A.R. Gurney, for two additional performances on 7/2 and 7/3 at 7:30pm.

Tickets are available through http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/112597 or reserve by phone at 520-731-1559.

Sylvia, by A.R. Gurney; a modern romantic comedy about a marriage and a dog.

Greg and Kate have moved to Manhattan after twenty-two years of child-raising in the suburbs. Greg brings home a dog he found in the park -- bearing only the name Sylvia on her name tag. A street-smart mixture of Lab and Poodle, Sylvia becomes a major bone of contention between husband and wife. She offers Greg an escape from the frustrations of his job and the unknowns of middle age. To Kate, Sylvia becomes a rival for affection. And Sylvia thinks Kate just doesn't understand the relationship between man and dog. Add the fact that Sylvia is played by a vivacious young woman and you view the relationship in a whole new way. *Contains mature language*

A.R. Gurney, author of The Dining Room and Love Letters, charms with his comedy, which has been a hit in the United States and internationally.

Directed by Maria Alburtus; Produced by Robert Encila for Studio Connections.

Starring Lissa Staples, Rick Shipman, and Teresa Vasquez as Sylvia; featuring Jacob Brown and Chad Collins.
