The premier women's chorus of Tucson, Southern Arizona Women's Chorus, will soon be seeking new members. It is almost time to recruit new members for our 2011 holiday concert season. We will be accepting new members each Monday from September 12th through October 3rd. Visitor's decision to join must be made by October 3rd.

WHO: Southern Arizona Women's Chorus
WHAT: Seeks singers for 2011 holiday concert season. Under the direction of Mrs. Terrie Ashbaugh, this premier women's chorus performs a variety of music for civic, religious and private organizations and senior communities. Sing well, have fun and enrich the lives of others!
WHEN: Each Monday, 6:45 PM until 9:00 PM, beginning September 12th through October 3rd.
WHERE: Ascension Lutheran Church, 1220 W. Magee Rd., Tucson, AZ 85704 (Just east of LaCanada)
COST: $100.00

The premier women's chorus of Tucson, Southern Arizona Women's Chorus, was established in the spring of 1985 by local women interested in singing for the Tucson community. Today it has a membership of more than 85 ladies. The Chorus is united by their love of singing and their commitment to excellence in performance. We sing beautiful music utilizing multiple-part harmonies, sometimes a capella, but more often accompanied by piano. The repertoire includes Broadway hits, holiday, patriotic, ethnic, classical, oldies, folk songs, and music that is just plain fun and entertaining. The Chorus has performed for a variety of audiences performing various musical styles. Our mission is to provide women of the Tucson community with an opportunity to participate in a non-affiliated women's choral group. We serve the community by singing for civic, sports, church and private functions. We are ably led by one of Tucson's most talented directors, Terrie Ashbaugh. Her musical background is enhanced by her engaging personality.
