Subject: Casting Call for AZ Women - SUNDAY SHOOT
We are producing a 10-15 minute video for Arizona State Senator Paula Aboud, which will play at 'Get Out The Vote' rallies the end of September, online, and potentially edited down to a PSA for television. The footage will also be provided to news outlets.
The focus of the video is the history of a woman's right to vote, women's health care rights, and the Arizona bills signed into law over the past four years that have diminished women's rights (26 bills in all).
WHO: Arizona Women, ages 18-50, all ethnicities, performance experience not required
WHEN: THIS SUNDAY, August 26. Call time: 6:45 a.m. Finishing up by noon, probably earlier.
LOCATION: Willcox Playa (dry lake bed), near the intersection of I-10 & 191 - 30 miles East of Benson. Carpooling potential.
SCENE DESCRIPTION: A diverse group of women in earth tones standing in the middle of a desolate desert landscape, gazing directly into the camera. We begin with close ups and slowly pull back to reveal the isolation and vulnerability of the group, with the sense that we are abandoning them in the middle of nowhere. *More detail about the overall vision will be provided to interested participants.
