Subject: Tucson Fundraiser
Tucson Queer Theatre Productions is a recently created theatre group with the goal of raising and supporting awareness of gay theatre in Tucson. The funds are raising by this project would be going towards our first production: A Midsummer Night's Sex Tragedy, written by Tucson local and TQTP co-founder, Michael Ashley. It's a play that teaches the prevention of contracting AIDS by practicing safe sex and not using drugs, but does so in an entertaining night of theatre. It was written for SAAF (Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation) in 2003 and has been performed multiple times in the years since. However, our current production is by far the most grand it's ever been performed.
