Casting Call for Short Film
University Filmmakers Organization is now casting for their semester short. Casting will take place Friday, November 1st from 3:30-6:30 at the Marshall Building on the U of A campus in room 211.We are looking for actors to fill these roles:
Ted (age 25-35): An awkwardly social janitor who enjoys singing to unconscious patients in the ICU Ward. (If you can sing, please prepare 16 bars of any song to sing a capella.)
Lilly (age 50-70): A women dying from cancer in the hospital. She has lost everything in her life, and finds comfort in hearing Ted’s voice.
Women in Bar( age 25-35): Attractive and slightly drunk women at the bar that Ted encounters. She is naïve but doesn’t mean any harm.
Please bring a headshot and resume to the audition if you have one. We will be reading sides from the script, but you are also encouraged to bring a monologue if you have one. Filming is scheduled to take place the weekend of November 15-17.
