The Community Players are holding open auditions for its next production,

                             

                                     Beth Henley's 

  Crimes of the Heart

                        Directed by Scott Berg

Auditions for this Pulitzer Prize winning American classic will be held on

                 November 9th and 10th, 2015 from 7-9pm at  

                             

                            The Community Playhouse

                                1881 North Oracle Road

                                  Tucson, AZ  85705

 

         Actors should come prepared to cold read from the script. 

If you feel you give stronger auditions doing a monologue, that option 

is open to you but you will also be asked to join in the cold readings. 

 

           We are looking for 4 women and 2 men, ages 25-55

The characters are written young, but will cast according the talent pool

and adjust things somewhat if necessary, so will cast older to play younger.

 

Parking and entrance to the theatre are located in the back of the building.  

Turn west from Oracle on either Lester or Plata, go one block to 13th Ave.,

Turn right from Lester or left from Plata, go through the chain link gate and park.  

 

The show opens January 8th and rehearsals will start in mid November allowing 

for some holiday conflicts in scheduling.  Please bring anticipated conflict dates
