Subject: Something Something's Season Auditions

 

Something Something Theatre's season auditions will be on April 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Community Playhouse, 1881 N. Oracle (five blocks south of Grant, entrance and parking in back on 13th Street).

 

Please prepare a one to two-minute dramatic or comedic monologue.  Callbacks will be later in the week.

 

Write to info@somethingsomethingtheatre.com with your resume and head shot (if you have one) to reserve a spot.

October, 2018

Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus

directed by Jasmine Roth

 

Needed: 10 female actors of various ages, at least 2 of color

 

December, 2018

Constellations by Nick Payne

directed by Joan O'Dwyer

 

Needed: 1 male actor, 1 female actor, both in mid-20s through 30s

 

February/March, 2019

The Hall of Final Ruin by Kelly McBurnette-Andronicos

directed by Avis Judd

 

Needed: 6 female actors: 5 Latinas and 1 Anglo

April, 2019

Needed: 1 female actor, 1 male

We feature plays by women in the 21st century canon and re-imagined classics.

We subscribe to non-traditional casting when not proscribed by the playwright or historical caveats.  We have open auditions for all roles.  We pay modest stipends.
