Subject: Theatre studio space available to rent

 

Troubadour Theatre is looking for another company/individual interested in renting our studio theatre space when not in use.  Ideally looking for a long term renter to share the space with us.  We are an educational youth theatre company, and use our studio for classes and class recitals/small class performances, and have a lot of availability for potential renters to use the space outside of our weekly class schedule.  Generally available all evenings after 6pm, and during the day outside of our class times.  

 

Our studio space is 1000 sq ft, with seating for about 40 with folding chairs.  Can be used for play rehearsals with small casts, vocal lessons, instrument lessons, band practice, etc.  Can also be used for small, intimate performances or recitals, we have stage lights and a basic light board, and sound system.  The room has a small stage 16'x8' (that's why I say appropriate for small casts.)  Backstage area on one side behind curtain with small room that can be used as private dressing room.  We also have a classroom area with tables and a chalkboard that would be good for anyone looking for a space for teaching crafting or art classes.  Cooled with central AC.

 

Our standard rate is $20 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour.  We can offer discounts on that for anyone looking to rent regularly ongoing.   We could work out a great deal for a monthly rate for anyone interested in using the space regularly.
