Five singers and the GMH Showband quintet fill the stage with a mix of family favorites and lesser known Christmas songs, encouraging everyone to join in.
Check out the Gaslight's own singing trio of Jingle Belles in this holiday season's Jingle Bell Rockin' Revue at the Gaslight Music Hall, 13005 N. Oracle Road.
These sparkling ladies are Erin Anderson, Chelsee Hicks and Lexa Raquel, joined onstage by a pair of boy-type singers, Armen Dirtadian and Brian Paradis, plus the mistletoe merry GMH Showband, a rockin' quintet bubbling over with glad tidings and cheery rhythms.
On select dates between now and Christmas Eve you can add your own toe-tapping to this yuletide song list of familiar favorites mixed in with some less familiar melodies encouraging everyone to feel the happiness of the season.
Even Santa himself steps up to join in wishing everyone a “Holly Jolly Christmas.”
From “Feliz Navidad” to “I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas,” this Gaslight gang applies snappy choreography and frequent costume changes to generate its own version of a good old-fashioned holiday television special in the living room. And the popcorn is free!
Some of the other songs are “Run, Rudolph, Run,” “I'll Be Home For Christmas,” “Let It Snow,” “Rockin' Little Christmas,” “Susie Snowflake” and – of course – “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
In this two-set show of old favorites and less familiar ones the audience is always encouraged to sing along. Chime in yourself and start a new tradition for the whole family.
The “Jingle Bell Rockin' Revue” plays at the Gaslight Music Hall, 13005 N. Oracle Road, on select dates up to Christmas Eve. Tickets are $27, with discounts for children, students, seniors, members of the military and first responders.
