LIVE THEATRE WORKSHOP presents The Velocity of Autumn

LIVE THEATRE WORKSHOP

3322 E. Fort Lowell Rd. · Tucson, AZ 85716

Kicking off the 2026–2027 Season

The Velocity of Autumn

By Eric Coble

Alexandra is 80, brilliant, and done compromising. Barricaded inside her Brooklyn brownstone with her art, her razor-sharp wit, and enough Molotov cocktails to take out the block, she's determined to defend her independence at all costs.

Her worried children stage an intervention — then bring in their wild card: Chris, the estranged son who hasn't been home in 20 years and literally climbs in through a second-floor window to mediate. The moment he says, “Hi, Mom,” the emotional fireworks begin.

The Velocity of Autumn is wickedly funny, surprisingly tender, and a powerful reminder of how fragile — and fierce — life and family can be.

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Time is ticking — grab your spot!

There's still time to jump into LTW Summer Camps — an immersive theatre experience where young artists (grades 1–12) spend their days creating, collaborating, and building confidence, all while working toward a live performance.

In a safe, inclusive environment, campers learn the full production process — from acting fundamentals to teamwork and stage skills — whether they're stepping onstage for the first time or ready for their next big role.

Spots are filling — grab yours now and let your kid's summer take center stage!
