It's time for another episode of Ten Minutes with Dawn! Dawn is brining improvisers from all over the world right to your living room - Every. Single. Friday. Rochelle McConico, aka Rochelle The Comic, is the CEO of MoonCricket Productions and a member of the multi-talented No Lye Comedy collective.
She has performed in the Dallas Comedy Festival, LA's Diversity in Comedy Festival, and New Orleans' own Infringe Fest and Black Girl Giggles Festival.
She is a stand-up comedian, improviser, writer, and actress. She has written, directed, and performed in three plays: I'm Only Here for the Snacks, Stangela for President, and Stangela's Swamp Thing. She performs as herself or as her alter ego, billionaire Stangela Angela Hemsworth Kingsley Winthrop Farrouk Adams III.

Family-Friendly Improv Comedy
Tonight's guest is a longtime friend and guest instructor at our theater. Please join us online to welcome (back) Rolland Lopez!
Rolland isn't very good at writing bios.
He's a decent singer, a surprisingly good dancer, and has easily spent 10,000 hours mastering the skill of TV watching.
He's also not very good at moderation. One slice of pizza quickly becomes an entire pie. And one improv class at the recommendation of his voiceover instructor quickly became coaching student shows, teaching all levels of the curriculum, starting several teams, co-forming Rollin' in Riches, and with Rich Baker, touring the states performing in and headlining festivals and teaching workshops.
You might have heard his voice as the voice of "Poncho" in "Pooch Cafe" or alongside Indi Birwin as the voice of the Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. Talking Globe (she is Indi Birwin, he is "oh yeah, there's also a guy narrating")
As we said - not very good at writing bios. But he is really excited and honored to be performing as part of the Unscrewed Theater House Party!

UNCENSORED Improv Comedy
Our special guest tonight is none other than the Real Rich Gary!
Rich is a Tucson-based comedian who has been performing for 7 years.
A naïve boy-like charm and a bitterness towards established American paradigms are the foundations of his operations. His background in Improv supports spur-of-the-moment riffs and rants, making each show unique, intriguing, and memorable.
Although he produces the sketch comedy show Keep Tucson Sketchy, created The Tucson Walk On Podcast, and hosts a Tucson Comedy Roast battle: Battle at the Roast Room, Stand-Up Comedy is his bread and butter. He is not gluten-free.
In 2018, 2019 & 2020, Rich was nominated as Tucson's Best Comedian by Tucson Weekly (2018; 3rd, 2019; 2nd). Side note: Rich has two cats.
Rich brings his unique talent for stand-up to our virtual stage with Allana, Rosanne, David, Jessica, Kate - & your host, Cy Barlow!

What's the Sunday SmashUp?
It's our online-only global improv open mic night.
We're welcoming teams from all over the world to perform for our live audience on our virtual stage. Each team performs a short scene as a group. Then -- we mix everyone up and perform a few smash-up scenes. You could be improvising with someone you know....or you could be improvising with someone from a completely different time zone.
All improv teams are welcome to join.
