The play subtly conveys the transitory beauty and sadness of the passing moment for three educated sisters from Moscow. Their dreams of returning to a grander life gives way to the defeat of their sensitive minds, generous hearts and personal aspirations. Only the love they have for each other gives them the strength to hope. In this powerful play, Chekhov masterfully interweaves character and theme in subtle ways that make the work's climax seem as inevitable as it is deeply moving. Regarded by some critics as one of the best dramas of the 20th century.

An all student cast conveys the complexities and depths of Chekhov's script under the skillful direction of Nikki Martinez. The beautiful set, designed by Wesley Creigh, magically trasforms from inside walls of the house to the outside wall and garden.

"THREE SISTERS is a love song to who we are in all our brokenness and beauty, delusion and lucidity. It's about what we all share and what we can never escape." – Nikki Martinez
