This 200th Soap Box Show

Will you be there when the 1,000th Soap Box story is told?  It is hard to believe we have been doing this show weekly for the past 4 years.  We are really lucky to hear amazing stories from local Tucson celebrities.  Some Soap Box highlights over the years include stories from Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall, Jeannette Maré the founder of Ben's Bells, David Fitzsimmons cartoonist for the Star, Isaac Marion the author of Warm Bodies, and Jimi Gianetti Rock Photographer.

This week we are super lucky to have Kelly Fryer, a current Arizona Gubernatorial Candidate.  Kelly has over 25 years of senior leadership experience. Since January 2013, she has served as CEO of YWCA Southern Arizona, a 100-year old nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and driven by the vision of a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Under Fryer's leadership, the organization serves 50,000 visitors on its two campuses each year, has grown by 400%, acquired two new businesses, expanded to a second campus and launched a statewide advocacy center.
