AUDITION NOTICE!   •   Teatro Dignidad is looking for a few great performers!

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Performers of diverse backgrounds to participate in our upcoming production of El Tiradito (working title).  El Tiradito, a brand-new play by celebrated playwright Elaine Romero, will open our exciting 23/24 Season this September (rehearsals scheduled to begin mid-August 2023)!  Come explore the here and now with us!

WHERE: Auditions will be held in the Consulado de México en Tucson (Consulate of Mexico in Tucson) 3915 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85711 (NE Corner of Broadway and Alvernon Way).

WHEN: July 17th, Monday evenings from 6-9pm (Appointment required)

Sacred Space to Honor Migrants & Community…

 

El Tiradito by Elaine Romero

 

El Tiradito, a sacred space dedicated to love and mistakes, becomes a place to contemplate the mistakes of a nation.  This new play by renowned playwright Elaine Romero, explores stories of lives lost in a deadly triangle, and lives lost to our vast deserts.  She asks us to examine our own humanity through the eyes of a people tossed aside, and the love of those left searching…

 

Needed:

·      Performers of diverse backgrounds ages 24-60-ish.

(persons of color, including Latinx/e strongly encouraged to audition)

·      Some theatrical experience required 

·      Contracted Payment Provided
