SPECIAL NOTE: All of THE PLAYERS appear nude in two full-team shower scenes involving real running water, soap and lather. PLEASE TELL US IF YOU ARE AFRICAN-AMERICAN, LATINO, ASIAN or LATINO WITH AN ASIAN LOOK. We are nervous about our ability to fill these roles in this market, and would like to know who's coming. If cast we will provide additional gas stipend and weekend housing.

ACCEPTABLE ANSWER examples: "Baseball is the greatest game in the world to me." "I don't know much about it, really." "3 hours of boredom." UNACCEPTABLE ANSWER examples: "Nothing." "Everything." "I don't know." Resumes are optional but a headshot is required (although any picture of yourself, even a laser copy, will do).

Show Synopsis: BASEBALL'S BIGGEST STAR HAS A BIG SECRET... AND IT'S NOT STEROIDS He's the biggest star in Baseball... 18-Million-A-Year... Sports cars, expensive homes, diamond rings, Prada shoes, Armani suits... but now the only thing NOT in the closet IS HIM! As the world reacts to his "matter of fact" announcement, the turmoil, confusion, support, betrayal, acceptance, hatred and joy are mirrored in miniature by eight athletes in a sacred locker room, that find their Eden corrupted now that they have eaten The Apple. Engagingly powerful and hysterically funny, Take Me Out is a rhapsody that no lover of the sport - or of theater - should miss!

Crew Needed: Always looking to grow out technical family. Specifically for TAKE ME OUT we are looking for sound and costume designers.

Additional Info: The Arizona Premiere of TAKE ME OUT is the opening show of our EIGHTH SEASON! It is the WINNER for BEST PLAY by the New York Drama Critics' Circle, Outer Critics' Circle, Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel and a teeny-tiny little award called the Tony.
