ZUZI! DANCE COMPANY, ARIZONA ONSTAGE PRODUCTIONS and THEATRICAL MIME THEATRE of Tucson join forces in an evening of dance, music, and story, all based on the beloved tales of Dr. Seuss – Theodor Geisel’s crazy contraptions and whimsical creatures brought to life in an array of upbeat, unique and funny dances, combining modern and aerial dance, theatre and mime.

The audience will be “blasted” by a quirky, upbeat duet on roller skates choreographed by Nathan Dryden and Jennifer Hoefle, to a look into a child’s dream of a circus in “IF I RAN THE CIRCUS,” choreographed by Artistic Director Nanette Robinson and Nathen Dryden.  The performances also combine the skilled members of ZUZI’s youth aerial company, “MANY LIMBS.”  Co-facilitators Nanette Robinson and Jennifer Hoefle adapted the “Sneetches and Greetches” story highlighting the idea of acceptance and friendship.

The Modern dancers of ZUZI!  will dare to explore the world of mime with a  piece by Rick Warner and Lorie Heald from the timeless Seuss story, “ SAM I AM.”

Not to be missed, this performance showcases a dance company committed to collaboration and giving voice to both its collective and individual visions!

ZUZI! Company Dancers :  Jennifer Hoefle, Wendy Joy, Nathan Dryden, Amber Eubanks, Alison Chafin, Yumi Shira, Bridget Gunning, Carrie Schneider, Lia Greisser, Nicole Buffan
