Subject: Lighting Technician needed

Old Pueblo Playwrights (OPP) seeks a Lighting
Technician for its 6th Annual Play-in-a-Day, scheduled
for Friday 5/9 & Saturday 5/10/08.

This year's Play-in-a-Day will be presented at the
Cabaret Theater at the Temple of Music & Art, 330 S.
Scott Avenue.  Friday night activities include: (1)
rehearsed staged-readings which showcase work by OPP
members and (2) random pairing of twelve playwrights
who will write overnight.  Saturday night features
staged-readings of the six short plays written
overnight.  This is an adrenalin-charged and fun
event.

The Lighting Technician needs to be available on
Friday 5/9 to set the lights at the Cabaret Theater
and then to run the lights on Friday 5/9 and Saturday
5/10.  Because of the nature of this event, lighting
design will be minimal and should require little more
than lights up & down, once the stage is competently
illuminated.

OPP is offering a stipend of $120 for the Lighting
Technician for this event.

Please contact Richard Chaney, Play-in-a-Day Chair, if
