Unscrewed Theater is Tucson's only 100% volunteer-run nonprofit community theater dedicated to improv comedy. In celebration of this year's Arizona Gives Day, they are hosting a family-friendly improv comedy show at 7:30pm on Tuesday, April 5th. The event is open to the public at 4500 East Speedway #39 or by live streaming through Zoom. The show will feature sets from House Teams "Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed" and "Comic Chaos."

Back in 2013, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers partnered up and created the concept of supporting Arizona nonprofits. Since then, they have raised more than $30 million dollars for Arizona nonprofits.

"We'd like to express how grateful we are for all the generous support given to our volunteer-run organization over the last two years and to ask for a booster for 2022," said Chris Seidman, Executive Director. "We're a place where families and folks of all ages can laugh together, and we'd like to celebrate that."

Unscrewed Theater has a fundraising goal of $6,500 which will be applied towards operating expenses and technical upgrades so they can continue to be Tucson's premier location for improvised comedy and welcome audiences back for many more evenings of comedy and community.
