We have great news on one of the New Arizona Film Incentives bills making their way through the legislature. Wednesday, March 23rd the Arizona House Appropriations Committee convened to discuss and vote on SB 1708, Arizona's newest film incentive bill. The debate was lively and spirited with many legislatures asking a lot of questions. Gratefully the bill was passed by a vote of 8-5 and now will move on to the full House where it will again most likely be amended before it is brought to the floor for a final vote. If approved the bill will then make its way to the Governor desk where it is very likely that he will sign the bill into law. Once the is signed it is scheduled to take effect on January 1st, 2023.

We will continue to keep you updated on the progress of both SB 1708 and SB 1710 which does not have an update at this time. Thank you so very much for your support of these bills which will have an enormously positive effect on new films coming to Arizona!
