The Little Sisters of Hoboken have just discovered that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are now in dire need of funds to send their dearly departed off in style. Their solution: put on a variety show!! Commandeering the school auditorium (which is currently set up for the eighth grade production of Grease), these hysterically-multi-talented ladies parade through an amazing array of skits, songs and not-to-be-believed dances. Amid the merriment there is even a riotous audience participation quiz that has everyone rolling in the aisles. Nunsense offers a cornucopia of hilarity for the whole family, proving conclusively that nun rhymes with fun! Winner of the Outer Critics' Circle award for the best off-Broadway musical, Nunsense has enjoyed more than 5000 productions worldwide, and has been translated into 21 languages.
