Winding Road Theater Ensemble presents:
Off Center

"The artist put this little speck of light in a sea of darkness. But the interesting part is that it's not quite center. That would have been easy."

Melody, a somewhat eccentric older woman, sits in front of her favorite painting at the art museum: a white dot painted slightly off center on a black background. It's closing time and the new security guard, Lindsay, needs for her to clear out. Before she leaves, Melody will give Lindsay a lesson on both art and the importance of fully appreciating the beauty in life.

Jacquelyn Priskorn has been writing plays since she took her first class with playwright Kitty Dubin in 1997. She is now a member of The Dramatists Guild and has had several plays and screenplays produced and published since that first class, including the movie "Love & Plutonium", which is currently available on Amazon. As an actor and member of Actor's Equity, Ms. Priskorn began writing, mostly to create more roles and audition material for herself and people like her.

Off Center is directed by Eight 10s founder Chad Davies and features Ina Shivack (YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED A BIT), Ensemble Member Erin Amsler (BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA) and Luisa Fernanda Stahlkopff, making her Winding Road debut!

Winding Road's fifth annual Eight 10s in Tucson returns to the stage May 19-28. Chosen from more than 200 blind submissions, all eight plays will be presented in one entertaining evening of live theater!
