TUCSON ACTORS: A single male character, 40-60, will play a used car salesman that defies cliches. When a former buyer appears with his life hanging in the balance, the salesman responds with unexpected insight, compassion, and a level of buoyancy. All to help the car owner pause before taking a final act of desperation.
To be filmed in Tucson in late March or early April, this role demands a level of maturity that can’t be coached on-camera. A diverse range of actors for THE KEYS is desired, with preparation and four hours of ‘on the lot’ shooting expected. With the silent person behind the wheel portrayed by a world-class master of physical theater, this is an exceptional chance to step forward professionally.
The paid role will support a film destined for release to middle- and high-school instructors in support of critical thinking by their students. As well as to a larger audience who may know someone in crisis.
