Old Pueblo Playwrights cordially invite you to their OPEN AUDITIONS Monday, January 19, 2026 beginning at 7 pm. 

 

THIS IS FOR AUDITIONS ONLY  -  NO SCHEDULED PLAY READINGS - NO ZOOM ASPECT EIGHER - IN PERSON ONLY AT: St. Francis in the Foothills MCC on River at Swan ( campus map attached) 

 

This audition will hopefully fill only a few roles that still need casting. 

 

Available roles in "The Chemo Lounge" by John Vornholt are 

one man, 40-ish, any race/ethnicity. 

one female, 55-60, any race/ethnicity

 

Available roles in "His Father's Son" by David Zinke are

One man 20-25 any race/ethnicity 

Two men 45-55 (they'll play a married GAY couple) any race or ethnicity  

Only one staged reading, script in hand performance in April.  No memorizing.

A few blocking rehearsals in March. 

 

THe New Play Festival 2026 will be presented at Invisible Theatre. 

 

Again, auditions are from 7 - 9 pm.  The audition is open to all.  No scheduled slots.
