Tucson: Beowulf Alley Theatre Company presents: The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter

Beowulf Alley Theatre Company presents: The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter, directed by Howard Allen. The cast includes: David Greenwood, C.J. Higgins, Cynthia Jeffery, Jonathan Northover, Nicole Stein, and Mike Sultzbach,

Synopsis:

Stanley Webber is the only guest staying in Meg and Petey Boles' seaside bed and breakfast, where he and Meg have at least an unusual relationship. One morning, while Meg and Stanley are bantering over breakfast, she mentions that two visitors are coming to stay for the night. Stanley immediately grows apprehensive. Meg announces that it's Stanley's birthday, even though Stanley insists it is not. After a few glasses of whiskey and a game of blindman's bluff, Stanley's birthday party slowly starts to feel less like a celebration and more like a bad dream.
