For Immediate Release

Bisbee's Obscure Productions Presents "The Vagina Monologues"

Bisbee's Obscure Productions will celebrate women and International Women's
Day with "The Vagina Monologues" by Eve Ensler. The play features actors C.
Gilles-Brown, Dixie Fisher and Carol Conner. American Sign Language
interpreters are Liz Lockwood and Jesse Smith.

"The Vagina Monologues" is a series of stories taken from the true lives of
over 200 women. The stories are sometimes profound, sometimes profane,
sometimes funny, sometimes painful. Some are politically charged; some are
politically incorrect. All are full of life and energy and hope for a body
part that remains sensitive but no longer private. There is quite a bit of
"adult" language.

Performances will be March 8 and 11 at the Bisbee Woman's Club, 7 Ledge
Avenue in Old Bisbee. Friday, March 10, the show will travel to Hot Licks
BBQ and Blues Saloon, 37 OK Street. All performances are at 7:30 pm. The
March 8 performance will be ASL interpreted. March 10 and 11 will be
interpreted by request.

All tickets are $8 in advance at Atalanta's Music & Books, Bisbee Office
Supply and Bisbee Visitors' Center, at Hot Licks and from Obscure
Productions. They will be $10 the day of the show at the ticket outlets and
the door. Advance tickets are recommended.

For more information and to request ASL for March 10 and 11, please contact
Bisbee's Obscure Productions at (520) 432-2901.
