Subject: [Tucson Actors] Acting Workshop

Hello All,

I have had several requests for more information on the free workshop.

This workshop, "An Actor's Gymnasium," is held every Saturday from 2
to 4 pm at Prescott College Tucson Center.  It is open to anyone
interested in acting or directing and theatre.  The workshop is free
on principle and purpose, and nothing else is being sold, offered or
expected.  It is conducted in a spirit of cooperation and gratitude
for learning and theatrical art.  Most people who currently attend
have working affiliations with several of the local theatre groups but
there are a couple of "beginners" as well.  The workshop was started
this past December at the request of a handful of actors who were
interested in developing the craft aspects of their art.

Each Saturday workshop includes three general, interrelated sections:
Outer Expressiveness, Imagination and Personalization, Scene Work and
Improvisation.  As the name implies, it is an active and participatory
session. I lead most of the sections but it is always an open forum
for input and ideas and occasionally others will lead a section.  We
have a lot of fun but the work requires discipline and a willingness
to be honest and genuine in your approach toward the craft of acting.
Feel free to contact me with questions. Thanks for your interests and
support.

Details again – Saturdays 2-4pm, Prescott College Tucson Center, 2233
E. Speedway Blvd, between Cambell and Tucson, north side of the street.
