Acting Technique I – Psychophysical Action
November 2 through December 21, 2105 2015

Saturdays – 12:00 – 3:00

 

Begin your training of the Acting Technique with the Psychophysical Action of the System as found in Stanislavsky's Books:  An Actor Prepares and An Actors Work

All our continuing classes and special workshops are built on this foundational course.

The Psychophysical work includes Voice and Speech, Movement, improvisations and beginning work on monologue and scenes.  It is followed by the Stanislavsky's approach to In-depth Active Analysis through Physical Actions and Dynamic Characterization.

 

Workshops and classes are taught by Philip G. Bennett Certified Stanislavsky Teaching Artist.  Founder of The TheatreLab and San Francisco Theatre Academy, Philip Bennett is an internationally recognized teacher of the Stanislavsky System, recipient of the Hollywood Dramalogue Award and Co-writer of Experiencing Stanislavsky Today, Routledge Academic Publishers, London.
