PRODUCTION CREW NEEDED

Are you ready to challenge yourself, help others and create something special in your lives??

Building careACTOR is looking for crew for their production of "Shrek, The Musical."

Need are a Musical Director, who can also handle Vocal Direction (or a Vocal Director only), Choreographer, and a Set Designer who can also handle puppet design and building specialty fabrication. All positions are paid.

This is a one-of-a-kind program, in collaboration with the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind, which has been recognized by the Arizona Commission for the Arts this year for innovation in programming.  Click here to view a video that will provide you with an overview of the program:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-f0HFfE50c

Building careACTOR  unites deaf or blind student with performers that can see/hear. Together they perform a full-length musical production. This is one of the first programs of its kind in the US. Deaf West presently has a production of Spring Awakening that is on Broadway using the similar techniques that are used in Building careActor's productions.

Auditions for actors will be in late November or early December with a performance run of at Crowder Hall  March 18-20.     

The production will be directed by Michael Candela, and Letty Moran, a top-notch theatrical interpreter, has joined the team as the lead interpreter.  Rehearsals schedules are flexible.
