Oro Valley's Got Talent
*ANNOUNCING 2019 DATES!*
Do you have a talent you'd like to show off AND win $1000 in the process? "Oro Valley's Got Talent" is your chance to showcase your skills and take home some serious prize money! All performers ages 8 and up are encouraged to attend, all talents are welcome (song, dance, magic/illusions, circus acts, etc). Performers may audition as a group or as individuals.
Important Info:
Preliminary auditions will be held at The Gaslight Music Hall on May 18 & 19 from 10AM-1PM. Auditioners will have a maximum of 3 minutes to perform, no appointment necessary. All acts must be entirely self-contained, no accompanist will be provided. Please bring everything you need to perform: singers bring a boom box or phone for backing tracks. We have the ability to play tracks on our sound system off of an aux cord if you desire. We will have wireless microphones set up for you if needed. Instrumentalists, please bring instruments and any necessary amplification (Drum kit and piano may be available for bands and pianists, please e-mail to confirm).
Auditions are closed to those auditioning only, and they will be auditioning for our preliminary judges one act at a time. All others will wait in the lobby until they are called. Auditioners will be called in the order that they sign in.
Whatever you do for your audition should be close to what you do should you be selected to perform. I.E. if you sing, you don't necessarily have to sing the same song during the show, but keep it to a similar style of what you sang.
If you are selected, you will be contacted at the e-mail you provide on the sign-up sheet. Please make sure it is a current e-mail that you check regularly. It will tell you whether you are performing at 2 PM or 6 PM on June 23rd. You will be asked to respond once you receive it, so please do so as soon as possible.
