The Invisible Theatre presents
a "High-Flying" Opening to ITs 53rd Season!
September 1 - 15, 2024
The Invisible Theatre kicks off its landmark 53rd season with BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA by Anna Ouyang Moench and directed by Gretchen Wirges. This play is a poignant exploration of the complexities of familial relationships set against the illuminating backdrop of
birdwatching. The cast features Dennis O'Dell and Hannah Turner, both making their long overdue IT debuts!
John and his daughter Caitlyn are birders and as years go by they scan the skies over their backyard in suburban Maryland. Caitlyn grows up and her father ages. The climate and the world change in small and vast ways. As they witness the changing seasons and the shifting patterns of bird migration, they also confront their own personal transformations, revealing deeper truths about love, loss, and the passage of time.
