AUDITION INFORMATION

 

FIRST ROUND SELF-TAPE

Opens September 5th at 8am

Closes September 12th at Midnight

 

For Self-Tape:

Please prepare a 32 bar/minute long non-Musical Theater song (folk, rock, jazz, gospel) or Musical Theater song in the style of the show or character desired.

 

Put the entire audition on one tape.

State: Your Name, Age, Desired Role, Name of your Song

Label your Video: "Last Name, First Name. Hadestown Audition."

 

Optional:

Please film 30 seconds of a dance routine or improvised movement.

If you play an instrument, please self-accompany or play it on the tape as well to showcase your musical ability (guitar, accordion, violin, tambourine).

 

The form with the link to submit your tapes will be sent out September 5th.

Tapes cannot be over 2 minutes long.

 

Audition Fee is $15

Audition fee goes towards our scholarship fund.

 

IN-PERSON CALLBACKS

These will be scheduled by-appointment only based upon the characters you are called back for. Please keep these dates open. We will schedule you for callbacks sometime within the time stated below.

 

Thursday, September 19th

Vocal/Acting Callback (4:30-10:00pm)

 

Friday, September 20th

Dance Callback (4:30-9:30pm)

 

Saturday, September 21st

Chemistry Reads and Singing Callbacks (4:30-9:30pm)

 

Sunday, September 22nd

Dance and Vocal Callbacks (4:30-9:30pm)

*for those with conflicts*

 

You will be emailed your callback information and materials no later than September 14th. Please let us know if you have conflicts with these times as soon as possible. We will take this into consideration when scheduling and do not want a conflict to keep you from auditioning for this amazing show!
