Arizona Theatre Company is seeking Young Female and Young Male Performers from Tucson and Phoenix to audition for our upcoming production of Scrooge!
SCROOGE!

Newly adapted from the Oscar nominated film Scrooge! comes a Christmas musical spectacular by Oscar-winning, Grammy-winning, and Tony-nominated composer Leslie Bricusse. Scrooge! is a ground-breaking adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The story follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he goes on a fantastical journey through his life over the course of a single Christmas Eve night. In a new version created uniquely for ATC, Scrooge! is the perfect holiday fare for families and audiences of all ages.
We are looking for:
Four (4) young performers ages 10-14 from Tucson who can sing, act, and dance. They will only perform in Tucson and the schedule is October 15 – November 30. Rehearsals are scheduled Tuesday – Friday from 3:00 – 9:00pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am – 6:00pm. The Young Performers will not be called for ALL hours but must be available during these time periods.
Four (4) young performers ages 10-14 from Phoenix who can sing, act, and dance. They will only perform in Phoenix and the schedule is December 4 – December 28. There will be five rehearsals in Tucson between November 15 and December 1, dates/times TBA.
Dates include:
- First Rehearsal Tucson – October 15, 2024
- Opening in Tucson – November 8
- Close in Tucson – November 30
- TBA Rehearsals for Phoenix cast in Tucson
- First Performance in Tempe/Phoenix – December 7
- Close in Tempe/Phoenix – December 25

This is a paid position – $250/week stipend.
At this time, we are looking for video submissions only. Please provide a headshot, resume, and tape of the Young Performer singing a single song (Broadway classic) that shows off their voice.
