About the Production

Big Broadway energy comes to the Marroney Theatre as TFTV presents Jerry's Girls, a dazzling, women-centered revue celebrating the iconic music of composer and lyricist Jerry Herman. Performed by the next generation of stage talent, this dynamic revue highlights the broad spectrum of thrilling material Herman wrote specifically for female performers.

This fast-paced revue features all the best songs and crowd favorites from such immortal musicals as Mame, Hello Dolly!, Milk and Honey, Mack and Mabel, A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine, and La Cage Aux Folles.

Jerry's Girls is the 2025-26 season finale for TFTV's Performance Season, showcasing BFA and BA students in acting, musical theatre, and the school's newest program, Live and Screened Performance. Season Artistic Director: Christie Kerr. TFTV Director: Dr. Frances Gateward.

Jerry's Girls runs April 19 – May 3, 2026 at the Marroney Theatre (1025 N. Olive Road, UA campus). The first two performances (April 19 & 22) are previews. Both Saturdays (April 25 & May 2) feature two performances.

About the Showcase

The BFA Acting & Musical Theatre Class of 2026 Showcase is the capstone presentation of the UA School of Theatre, Film & Television's BFA graduating class — an industry-facing showcase designed to introduce the next generation of professional stage talent to agents, casting directors, and the broader theatrical community.

Each year, TFTV brings agents, professional designers, and production specialists to campus to view the work of graduating actors and designers. The Showcase provides graduating students direct access to industry professionals and a concrete next step into their professional careers.

The 2026 Showcase will be released publicly online on April 28 at showcase.tftv.arizona.edu. An exclusive, in-person big-screen screening will follow on Wednesday, May 5 at 7 PM in the newly renovated Marroney Theatre — TFTV's 311-seat proscenium house, equipped with state-of-the-art screening technology.

About Jerry Herman

Jerry Herman (1931–2019) was one of Broadway's most beloved composers and lyricists, creator of three of the longest-running shows in Broadway history: Hello, Dolly! (1964), Mame (1966), and La Cage Aux Folles (1983). His music is defined by irresistible melody, theatrical flair, and enduring optimism.

Among his most celebrated female anthems: Hello, Dolly!, Before the Parade Passes By, It Only Takes a Moment, We Need a Little Christmas, If He Walked Into My Life, and I Am What I Am.

About UA School of Theatre, Film & Television
