OUTDOOR FILMMAKING CAMP
A collaboration with Tucson Village Farm
June 8–12 | Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM • Rising 9th–12th Grades
An immersive, hands-on camp for teens who want to forge a deeper connection with nature through a combination of direct experience and the arts. Participants head into Southern Arizona’s most inspiring landscapes—including field trips to the Santa Ritas and Mt. Lemmon—learning from filmmakers, writers, and environmental advocates. Skills include creative communication, cinematography, audio recording, and editing.

SCAMPS ON THE SILVER SCREEN
The Fox teams up again with Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre
July 6–10 • Rising 8th–12th Grades
Ready to unleash your inner Charlie Chaplin? Students move story concepts into fully realized film productions! Working in small creative teams, campers refine scripts, storyboard scenes, rehearse, film, and help edit their own original black-and-white short silent movies. A focus on creative ownership and ensemble collaboration produces a polished final film—along with a range of filmmaking and life skills.

Step into the world of silent movies and discover how filmmakers worked story magic without words! This playful and imaginative camp introduces younger students to the foundations of silent cinema with a focus on movie magic, visual effects, and creative expression.
