Tucson: Local Short Film Festival Launches

Local Short Film Festival Launches

The
TucsonFilm.com monthly screening of short films will debut Sunday, September 11, 2005 at Club Congress (located inside the historic Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress Street in downtown Tucson). The monthly screenings will start at 7 p.m., and will be followed by a filmmaker meet-and-greet mixer until 9 p.m. Admission is free, and a full bar is available. (Filmgoers under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.) The TucsonFilm.com Micro-Cinema will feature independent short film and video, with an emphasis on Arizona talent. Dramatic, documentary, artistic and experimental film and video are all welcome and encouraged. All filmmakers – both local and international – are welcome to submit short films for the monthly screenings, with no submission fee. Complete submission details can be found at www.TucsonFilm.com.
