Pima Community College Center for the Arts
announces its exciting 2016-2017 Season: Infuse!
The new season of awe-inspiring arts events is infused with fresh ideas, cultural diversity,
award-winning
productions, creative direction, landmark exhibits and talented students, faculty and community members.

Season highlights include:
- Theatre arts brings back the family favorite production CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (Sept. 21-Oct. 2)

- The Louis Carlos Bernal Gallery is planning a landmark exhibit featuring previously unseen color photos by the late photographer Louis Carlos Bernal. LOUIS CARLOS BERNAL: Arizona Unseen, Color Photographs 1978 - 1988 (Oct. 24-Dec. 9)

- We couldn't be more excited to present the Tony Award-winning IN THE HEIGHTS by the wildly popular award-winning composer of HAMILTON, Lin-Manuel Miranda. It's an upbeat contemporary musical that embraces Latin rhythms and dance, and spices it with hip-hop lyrics to tell a captivating story about chasing the American dream while clinging to your roots and celebrating the community from which you grew. (Feb. 23-March 5)

- Theatre arts welcomes new director Nikki Martinez for the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov's deeply moving drama THREE SISTERS. (April 20-30)

- Music continues to inspire us throughout the season with music concerts by the WIND ENSEMBLE, CHORALE & COLLEGE SINGERS, JAZZ ENSEMBLE, and ORCHESTRA, along with recitals by faculty and guest artists.

- Nolan Kubota infuses the annual dance concerts with fresh contemporary choreography in SIGNATURE SELECTIONS (Dec. 9 -10) and DANCE FUSION (May 5-6).
