Tucson Alliance of Dramatic Artists (TADA!) ANNOUNCES THE WORLD PREMIERE OF LOCAL WRITER'S PLAY
The Alliance Performance Center of Tucson's APCOT Theatre, located on Tucson's Northeast Side, will keep it's doors open this summer for the brave Tucson's who stay in town, with the World Premiere of local writer, Sydney Flynn's wonderful play, Two Saturdays in September.
Sydney, and her husband, Vince, are long time Tucson's, well know and adored in the theatre community. Two Saturdays in June will be presented, July 15 thru 31 at the APCOT THEATER, co-directed by TADA & APCOT co- Founder and Artistic Director, Sheldon Metz, and professional actress/film director, Jennifer Scott. Metz has been tied up following surgery and Ms. Scott, who also performs in the production, offered to take over the duties, with Metz' assistance.
On a trip back to her hometown after ten years in Hong Kong, a teacher confronts both her mother and the demons that have haunted her since childhood. Ghosts must be dealt with before peace can be found. This play will resonate for anyone who has ever made that trip "home," or wanted to.
This informative, thought-provoking and deeply moving production stars Jennifer Scott, Karen McGraw, Amy Scully, Boz Lamasney, Linda Andresano. and Drew Kallen.
When: July 15 thru 31, 2016, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. - Sunday Matinees at 2:30 p.m.
