For a panel discussion about what steps to take to get your play

“from the page to the stage”

This FREE event features an esteemed panel of current OPP members:

Gavin Kayner, Ron Pullins, and John Vornholt

These playwrights have combined to pen dozens of plays and can point to staged productions of their work in Tucson, New York City, Boston, San Diego, Chicago, Houston, and Poughkeepsie, just to name a few stops!  Their work includes ten-minute, one-act, and full-length plays ranging from psychological dramas to sketch comedies and monologues.

They will share their experiences in these areas:

Ø  Production responsibilities

Ø  Choosing a director

Ø  Playwright involvement

Ø  Costs, budgeting, and profitability

Ø  Legal and insurance concerns

A Q&A opportunity will follow this discussion.

Old Pueblo Playwrights meets in the upstairs rehearsal hall at the Temple of Music and Art located at 330 South Scott Avenue, Tucson.
