Opening Night at the Mercado

The 29th Arizona International Film Festival, the oldest film celebration in Arizona, will open with an under-the-stars screening of the Arizona-made film, DUSTWUN, at the Mercado Annex Festival Grounds, (267 South Avenida del Convento) on Wednesday, April 14 at 7:30pmadmission $10. Free Online Filmmaking Panels

We are pleased to announce our free exciting series of online filmmaking panels with Festival filmmakers. Topics include making features in Arizona, cinematography, documentary filmmaking, screenwriting, distribution and a special workshop with Panavision. See panels for more information

12 Days of Online and Outdoor Screenings

The 29th Arizona International Film Festival, the oldest film celebration in Arizona, will premiere a diverse program of new works representing 18 countries from April 14 through April 25.  Screenings will be online and outdoors at various sites in downtown Tucson. The Selection Committee has released their selection of films including 30 features and 78 shorts from 21 countries for screening at the 29th Arizona International Film Festival. The Selection Committee praised the quality and diversity of the record number of films submitted this year. Congratulations filmmakers!
