Our next Improv 101 starts next Wednesday the 28th, and today is the last day to get the early bird price of $150.  There are only three spots left, and our last two Improv 101 classes sold out.  Get your spot today!

Last week I talked about Presta Coffee Roasters opening a new location at the corner of 9th St. and 3rd Ave.  Today I got my first beverage from the shop, and had my first TIM meeting there.  The location was awesome, the patio is primo, and ambiance in the building was great.  They are open 7am to 4pm daily, so make sure you check it out while you are in the neighborhood.

This weekend The Jam rolls on Friday night at 7:30pm with your host Timmy Budinger! We require preregistration for the event, so we can manage capacity and social distancing.  On Saturday we have a few more performers are rejoining us on the stage in the Improv show at 7:30pm. Then Stand Up continues at 9pm on Saturday night.  Our COVID-19 Ticket and Entrance Policy is still in place. Get your tickets early, because last week the Stand Up show sold out, and the Improv show was 3/4 full, so these tickets are hot hot hot!

Improv 101: Basics
Wednesday, April 28th 6:00-8:00pm
Instructor: Sara Alcazar Silva

Our Improv 101 class will teach you the two most important words in the improvisers vocabulary: "Yes, And." These two seemingly simple words open up the door to our six week course that will provide your foundation for comedy improvisation: team-building, trust, speed, active listening, and agreement. Over the six weeks you will specifically learn: grounded scene work, how to develop relationships, create characters, and cultivate the environment within improv scenes. Students learn to be fearless and have fun on stage using the TIM approach to improv.

Please note this is an in person class, masks will be required by all participants, strict 6 feet social distancing will be enforced at all times, and participants will be asked to regulate symptoms/potential exposure before each class.
