ten minute play festival!

All Auditions (04/5-04/6) and Callbacks (04/7-04/11) will be conducted via zoom.

Rehearsal will take place April-May. All shows will be recorded by May 21, 2021. The shows will stream on demand May 28-June 30, 2021.

Logline: Two beings share in the wonders of Earth

Characters:

You Can Bake! by Andrea Aptecker. Directed by Joshua Lorris

Logline: Desperation takes hold when Lila realizes her Zoom baking class is going off the rails. Her students don’t listen, the technology is imperfect, baking via Zoom is harder than it looks, and to make matters worse, her ex-boyfriend is taking the class

Characters:

Logline: A middle-aged man and a young man travel through a barren, desolate space. They fold clothes and place them into suitcases, but before they can continue their next journey arguments arise about leadership and bad life choices.

Logline: A nervous Maria gets onto a roller coaster with her boyfriend Paul, who realizes she has ulterior motives for bringing them there.

Synopsis: A new heartbreak causes Jane to return to find her first ever heartbreak, forcing him to participate in her deep need to know "why."

Logline: A family confronts more than one kind of change as its weekly Sunday dinner is relegated to a Zoom chat.

The Elusive Pursuit of Maximum Bliss by Ken Preuss. Direction by Alex Totillo.

Logline: A wealthy man and a female researcher explore multiple timelines to explore the feasibility of 100% happiness.

Logline: When a young black man is gunned down by the police, one bereaved mother tries to comfort another.

Top Shelf Tolstoy by Maximillian Gill. Direction by Tyler Gastelum. 

Logline: A new arrival in a small town finds her quest to check out a copy of a Tolstoy novel thwarted when she discovers that the library has resorted to drastic means to raise funds.
