Subject: Yes and News - 7/22/21
We are standing on the precipice of normality at the theater. In two weeks we are going to be starting Thursday night shows. They debuted right before we shut down the theater for COVID, and they really were a hit in 2019. So it is exciting to get back to the place where we are ready to bring them back. In the 7:30pm timeslot we will offer our newest faces and the best experimental comedy that we have. Our Class showcases, harold teams, and Indie teams will all take up a home bringing the funny on Thursday nights for the price of $5. Then we are really switching it up at 8:30pm. With the jam holding down the Friday at 6pm timeslot, we needed some new content for Thursday nights, welcome 5 new and exciting shows all free and all meant to connect the Tucson Comedy Community. Check out the information below, and I can't wait to watch these shows get started.
1st week - Open Mic - a Stand Up Open Mic.
2nd week - Unformatted - Improv Open Mic
3rd week - Boast Rattle - Not a roast battle a boast battle, think being nice to people
4th week - Cagematch - 4 improv teams enter one leaves victorious
5th week(on months with 5 Thurs) - Punball Wizards - a pun battle, yes the show you have all be waiting for (or just Catherine Bartlett and myself)
Like it hot? Like it wet... from monsoons? Then we have a show for you, "The Dirty Tees." You only have two more chance to catch a comedy show for real Tucsonans. Thank Mark A Molina AKA Art by MAM who did the amazing artwork for this show. We promise these Dirty Tees will be an homage to the city and desert that we love. Remember the Meeting, our workplace comedy from our Digital Edition shows, well the cast is coming back to the office for their first live in person show on Saturday at 7:30pm. As always we have the Jam and Stand Up Friday night, along with the Soapbox. Hope to see you out at some shows this weekend!

Learn the art of standup comedy utilizing the TIM philosophy to finding the funny fast. Discover how to nurture true stories into a routine that both engages and entertains your audience. Our experienced instructors will teach you to construct a stage persona, performance mechanics, develop a joke, and create sets this will hit with an audience.
The Meeting is coming back to the office. Out of the Zooms and onto the stage. All of the troupes of your favorite work place situational Saturday at 7:30pm!
