Auditions: Live Theatre Workshop's 2022-2023 Season

Call for Auditions

Live Theatre Workshop's 2022-2023 Season

Live Theatre Workshop 2022 - 2023 Auditions are Sunday, May 22 from 12:00PM - 2:00PM

Live Theatre Workshop (LTW) is hosting an open call casting audition for all performing programs from noon - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22

All roles are paid a set stipend based on the size of the role and time commitment.

Musical theatre, dramatic, and comedic actors are encouraged to show off their acting talents at the audition. LTW casts roles for its professional Children’s Theatre musicals, Mainstage shows, and Etcetera Late Night shows throughout the year. LTW is a Safe Place and ally who encourages people of all ethnicities, abilities, ages, and who identify as any gender to audition.

Some roles for the 2022 - 2023 seasons have already been cast. People auditioning should email a headshot and resume to Karin Hupp at karin.h@livetheatreworkshop.org and will be assigned a time to arrive for their audition.

Auditions will take place in person at our new theatre campus at 3322 E. Fort Lowell Road. Additional safety precautions (listed below) will be in place to keep all staff and those auditioning safe. If you are unable to attend in person, we can schedule a Zoom audition during the audition date and time. In person auditions are encouraged.

Please prepare a one-minute monologue. Those interested in auditioning for Children’s Theatre musicals can also prepare a 32-bar musical selection to pre-recorded music. Please send an MP3 File ahead of your audition. A Cappella songs are not recommended.

If there is a good role for you in this season, you will be contacted for call backs which happen throughout the year.

Live Theatre workshop staff cannot schedule individual or make-up auditions, but those unable to attend the audition date may submit a headshot and resume via email.

Live Theatre Workshop also seeks qualified costumers, stage managers, sound designers, carpenters, set designers, and sound designers. Those interested in technical roles should submit a resume and cover letter to holli.d@livetheatreworkshop.org
