We have a lot of reasons to be excited about our 14th season, but the main attraction is that this entire season will be LIVE ON STAGE, even our fifth annual ten minute play festival, Eight 10s in Tucson! Woo hoo!

We'll be opening with a staged reading of the original script N, by Adrienne Earle Pender.

Eugene O'Neill's groundbreaking 1921 play, The Emperor Jones, was the first American play that featured an African-American actor in the lead role on Broadway. Charles S. Gilpin's portrayal of Emperor Brutus Jones was hailed as "revelatory," and he was named the finest actor of the age. But by 1926, O'Neill was a legend and Gilpin was lost to history. N explores the challenging relationship between Gilpin and O'Neill and how it ultimately hinged on one word; a word that lifted one of them to heights of American theatre, and a word that destroyed the other.

This Winding Read will be directed by Dawn McMillan. The fascinating exploration of the relationship between acclaimed Black actor Charles S. Gilpin and budding playwright Eugene O'Neill will intrigue and challenge you!

N plays Saturday October 22nd at 7:30p and Sunday October 23rd at 2pm. Tickets for each reading are only $15. Performances will be held at Rhythm Industry Performance Factory at 1013 S Tyndall Ave, Tucson, There is plenty of free parking available!

Single tickets are now on sale or  See all four Winding Road offerings for only $80! That's a savings of up to 16% savings off individual ticket prices! We can't wait to see you at the theater!
