ABOUT THE CAMP
During this week-long Spring camp, middle school students at beginning and intermediate levels use their skills to dive deep into Barrio Stars' core principles of confidence, teamwork, and cultural pride. Teaching artists lead students in games and activities that culminate in a powerful final performance.
In just one week, students memorize and perform an entire 50-minute production — complete with costumes, props, lighting, sound, and set design. The bonds formed during this transformative week are strong enough to last a lifetime.
