TUCSON IMPROV MOVEMENT, A new era begins this Saturday

TUCSON IMPROV MOVEMENT

414 E 9th Street, Tucson, AZ 85705  •  tucsonimprov.com

A new era begins this Saturday at 8:30 pm! 4th Avenue Confessions and Roll for Initiative will commandeer the stage together, igniting a new partnership on the fourth Saturday of the month. Come share your anonymous secrets with our cast who will turn them into a hilarious improv show — then the dice decides the drama with Roll for Initiative, our nerd show that highlights epic questions, chaos, and comedy. Don't miss this new once-a-month show pairing!

We're thrilled to partner with Unscrewed Theater to host a weekend of workshops with Michael Gellman and Scotty Watson. Opportunities to learn from artists at their level don't come around every day. Workshops are Saturday, February 28th, and Sunday, March 1st, with lunch included both days and a showcase each night. Register for one day or both — a discount is automatically applied at checkout when you sign up for both days.

Improv Madness tips off in March — complete with brackets, surprises, big swings, and comedy hilarity. Tune in next week for the bracket reveal. It's one of my favorite times of the year at the theater, so get your head in the game!

Featured Show Spotlight

The Soapbox w/ Scott Other  —  Friday at 7:30 PM

Scott Other moved to Tucson from Maine in 2024, and he's happier for it. For the past two years he has been tinkering with standup comedy and co-founded Geek Out Comedy with Emily Viola and Dani Lucchese. He tells jokes about Iberian ribbed newts, Dawson's burrowing bees, nanobots, and neutrinos. In his spare time he plays guitar, watches movies about time loops, reads autobiographical comics, and obsesses over those who have done him wrong.

Everyone has a story to tell. Four short and personal stories from Scott at 7:30 PM will inspire Tucson's premier improv comedy team.

Join the Improv Jam first at 6:30 PM — then stay for The Soapbox for just $5!
